Why won't Lawrence go with the surname? I can't imagine many names clashing with it? And you can shorten it to Larry, which I love.

Hmm, I think I maybe see it as classic but not too staid. Though I can see it maybe does give posh vibes too!

Thanks. I like Edward,Alexander and Robin but could only use Alexander (partner doesn’t like Edward, and Robin won’t go with surname-same as for Laurence).

Larry or Lance. Both are names of family members and use these shortened versions to identify which one is which.
