The three names I really like are Kaia, Keira and Sienna

what do you think I seen another thread where someone said the name sienna was chavvy.

be brutal Lol I want real opinions and any other ideas would be great

I also used to love the name Lana.. until I spelt it backwards but I still think it’s a beautiful name

I love Kaia. It isn´t chavvy at all.

Second choice Sienna.

Don´t like Keira. I do like Chiara though (pronounced like key-ara). Chiara would be my favourite if it was on your list.

Sienna is lovely. Certainly no negative connotations where I live.

I’m not keen on your other choices. They are confusing names with so many spellings.
I know a Ciara, pronounced the same as Keira/Kiera Knightley.
Also a Kaia and a Cia both pronounced Kie-ah.

The names you like are perfectly lovely names. The problem is with the people who look down their noses and more a relection on them than on the name itself.

PrimroseWharf · 06/10/2022 09:44

They are all quite chavvy

KirstenBlest · 06/10/2022 08:09

The names you listed are not pretty IMO. They sound names that are popular because they are associated with pretty, feminine celebrities.

I like Keira and Sienna.
Not so keen on Kaia.

How about Sierra?

Zizou04 · 05/10/2022 23:46

Sienna is a lovely name.

Don't listen to middle aged women on the Internet who recommend that every child have a separate 'birth certificate' name.

They should all be traditional or old lady names. 😴

Hm2020 · 05/10/2022 20:09

Sienna is the only feminine one I’d say.

outtheshowernow · 05/10/2022 20:05

Sienna is lovely not chavvy at all where we live south east uk. Also like saskia Summer and Freya

DysonSpheres · 05/10/2022 20:04

Kaia is cute.
Keira is nice too.

Prefer Lena to Lara
Sienna is lovely, had no idea it was considered chavvy.

DotDotDotDotDot · 05/10/2022 19:49

Sorry I just don’t like very many K names at all. The Kardashians and Rooneys have seen to that. Ciara and Caia are far nicer (and correct). I personally don’t find Sienna that downmarket, just overused in the past few years to the point of being a bit boring.

ElizaSkye · 05/10/2022 19:45

Lani is lovely as an alternative and means sky in Hawaiian

Vitamm · 05/10/2022 19:34

I would see both Sienna and Kaia as similarly "chavvy"/similar style. Keira I would spell like this or Ciara.

How about Lena instead of Lana?
Or Leah?

emmathedilemma · 05/10/2022 19:32

i’m not sure how you pronounce Kaia……Ky-a or Kay-a? Either way, I’m not a fan, I fear it’s more chavy than Sienna.
Kiera is ok but I have a friend called Ciara (assume you’re pronouncing it the same way) and everyone spells it or pronounces it wrong when they don’t know her well.
