Claudia vs Margaret?

Hello - first post! Our daughter is due any day now and we are finding names difficult, but feel it's between Margaret and Claudia, with the set middle name of Rose. All have family connections are we are not concerned about meanings. We think that both go with our son's name, are good with Claude as a nn as she gets older, and flitting around the various Margaret nn's. Any thoughts? Thank-you!

Of the two I prefer Claudia. Do agree with waiting to see your baby and then see which name suits her best.

I love Claudia and hate Margaret. I can only imagine it on someone over 50.

I'm not the one who hates the name Margaret! Margaret Rose is the name of Princess Margaret. Would you really want to call your child after her?

Forgot to add, at the point where you have two great options I'd personally just wait to see what feels right when she's here. I find deciding 100% beforehand takes away a bit of the post-birth excitement!

I really dislike the name Margaret so I would choose Claudia

I really like them both OP, sorry no help! Slight preferred for Margaret as I lean toward sensible names with "clunkier" sounds, and I think all the nn options tip it as well. But Claudia is also great and flows slightly better with Rose imo.
