I've heard it be pronounced Lee-oh-nee but there's a 2 local girls I know and theyre laynee & layohnee both spelt leonie.

I always wanted Erin. Not sure why but through both pregnancies that were 7 years apart it's the name I was always sure about. Had 2 boys and now going though the menopause in my 30s so I guess it was never meant to be! Still love the name though
