We're so stuck, we were almost sold on Zara but wonder if it's too similar to Eliza? I don't want anything too pretty or girlie, help please!

Remember that for most of their lives they probably won't live together etc, so the names don't really need to "go together" iyswm!?
That said, my immediate thought was something with an "m"... Martha, Mariah, mabel...?

Eliza and Sarah

Sarah is lovely and underused right now. Not too frilly or girlie, but the sound of it it gentle and suits Eliza, in my opinion.

Eliza has a much different feel to me than Zara, Zara is nice though.

Zara is a bit on the pretty and girly side, it’s quite nice, but doesn’t have the history Eliza has.

I think Imogen is a great shout. Lucy works too but is a bit little girly
