Baby girl due soon we are stuck on these names to give her for a first name. We want one starting with the letter R. Which one of these names do you like best? If there are other name suggestions that begin with R that would be helpful. Thanks

Rachel, spelled this way without the extra A

nelliebear8 · 15/10/2022 22:05

Not a fan of any, if I had to pick it would be Rosie, but I prefer it as a nickname for Primrose, Rose, Rosalie, Rosemary etc.

My favourite R name is Rue. I also love Rose, Rosalie, Rosemary, Rosalind, Rosamund, and Rhiannon.

Lonelylonelylonely · 15/10/2022 22:02

Prefer Rose to Rosie. Rosie sounds like a name for a dog.

Rachael is ok though a little dull.

Prefer Rebekah to Rebecca (biblical spelling o believe).

Quite like Robyn.

Mumofgirls2017 · 15/10/2022 21:50

I like Ruby from your list and would also suggest Ruth and Rebecca

ShirtingForkBalls · 21/09/2022 22:43

I love Ruby and Rose
Rhea is a nicer spelling imo

How about:

Rosa
Rebecca
Romilly

Chocolatesandroses · 21/09/2022 22:34

Rachael and Rosie

soulinablackberrypie · 21/09/2022 22:33

From your list I only really like Rachael and Rosie, but I think I slightly prefer the simpler Rachel spelling and I like several other names that would shorten to Rosie, especially Rosalie.

I really like Ruth, and quite like Rebecca and Rowena. Sometimes I think I like Romilly, sometimes I worry that it's a bit too out there.

KelseyLou · 16/09/2022 13:17

How about using 2, I quite like Rachael Rhianna "your surname"

KelseyLou · 16/09/2022 13:14

I like Rachael & Rhianna better still why not use both, Racheal Rhianna Surname

Billylilly · 16/09/2022 12:40

I love the name Rosie. Always have. I also love the names Reese and Raine (Raine a bit more ‘out there’).

I prefer Rose to Rosie.

SafeHeaven · 16/09/2022 11:50

Rhea reminds me of rear end.

I do like Rosanna.

Hereforit2022 · 16/09/2022 11:47

I love the name Reeva

Mittens1717 · 16/09/2022 11:46

Only Rosie from your list, also love Robyn

20viona · 16/09/2022 08:09

Imissmoominmama · 16/09/2022 07:56

Rowan is what I would call my daughter, if I had another (I’m 56, it’s not happening 😂).

Enko · 16/09/2022 07:46

Out of your list Ria. But for me personally

Ramona or Rowena
