Thoughts? For a girl, obviously (though who knows these days) surname is 3 syllables and common. Will be sister to Ivo.

I prefer Juno, but that doesn't really work as a sibling for Ivo. Juniper is nice enough though, it's interesting.

I prefer June

Makes me think of gin or the song Jennifer Juniper.

Soubriquet · 08/09/2022 20:04

Love it

BuffaloCauliflower · 08/09/2022 20:04

@TheLightSideOfTheMoon all good! One of the meanings of Ivo is yew tree, which are also used to ward off evil spirits, so we’re down for that 🙂

Guilty pleasure for me. I mostly like quite plain names but I have a soft spot for weird botanicals.

MissVantaBlack · 08/09/2022 20:01

I like it! I've never come across it as a name before, but I think it works brilliantly.

Kanaloa · 08/09/2022 20:00

I like it, I also like June/Junie for a nickname for her! I didn’t know about it being burned to remove evil but if anything that’s a good connotation to me - like it’s strong/protective rather than being the name of an actual poison or something!

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 08/09/2022 19:58

I love it.

However, it is burned to remove poison and evil spirits and was used heavily during the plague. Bear that in mind.

JuniperStJames · 08/09/2022 19:56

I like it too.

MolkosTeenageAngst · 08/09/2022 19:55

I really like it.
