Thoughts? For a girl, obviously (though who knows these days) surname is 3 syllables and common. Will be sister to Ivo.

I dont hate it.. nor am I in love with it. I do love gin 😁

Not keen on the nicknames I think is my issue. June is old lady for me and juno is ugly as is nipper

AuntTwacky · 16/09/2022 00:29

Prefer Juno

IWishIWasABaller · 16/09/2022 00:26

I love it ! Beautiful name

Greenlee · 16/09/2022 00:24

I love it. I'd even love Jupiter. I just think they have a great rhythm to them.

Beentheredunnthat · 15/09/2022 06:48

Sorry but no, cant say the word Juniper without saying Juniper Berry.

BuffaloCauliflower · 14/09/2022 15:08

@Cindie943811A thanks 🙂 we love Ivo but it’s proven hard to follow! DH is absolutely set on Juniper, I’m still ruminating

Good sound to it and not overused and hackneyed.
Don’t let anybody put you off if both you and DH like it.
lvo is a great choice, too.

BuffaloCauliflower · 10/09/2022 14:27

@holidaynightmare it is not! Though my aunt suggested Berry as a name as it’s a family name, so it might appease her. She’s partial to a gin too!

Nice. Also Ginevra which is Juniper in Italian. And Juno (Queen of Heaven).

Now I know why it's called gin!

holidaynightmare · 09/09/2022 10:57

Is your surname Berry 😂

BuffaloCauliflower · 09/09/2022 08:02

@CandyLeBonBon it’s the main gin flavouring, without it gin is not gin

BuffaloCauliflower · 09/09/2022 08:01

@SemperIdem that’s fair enough, I don’t like Ginevra at all and we’re not Italian

BuffaloCauliflower · 09/09/2022 08:00

@Reallyreallyborednow that’s fine 🤣

BRIAN: Of course they've brought forth juniper berries! They're juniper bushes! What do you expect?!

It’s a miracle!!

I like it as a name but would have to start quoting Python every time I heard it 😂😂

SemperIdem · 08/09/2022 23:55

I think it is really ugly.

Ginevra on the other hand is lovely.

ReadtheReviews · 08/09/2022 23:49

I love it.

However, it is burned to remove poison and evil spirits and was used heavily during the plague. Bear that in mind.

Was it/is it not also used as a gin flavouring? Works for me!

BearBibble · 08/09/2022 23:44

It's currently top of my list if this next baby is a girl! I love it 😍

minipie · 08/09/2022 23:31

ChagSameachDoreen · 08/09/2022 22:22

Horrible. All I hear is Jew + nipper.

Very ugly name. I can't fathom its popularity.

MsJuniper · 08/09/2022 21:35

Good name 😬

Stevie6 · 08/09/2022 21:35

Benny & Joon is my first thought and absolutely adore that film

Snugglemonkey · 08/09/2022 21:31

I think it is a lovely name and Juni is very sweet.

Howeverdoyouneedme · 08/09/2022 21:04
