Thoughts? I think I quite like it. A rare floral name of a Christmas orchid

First thing I thought from the thread title was : PENIS.

Is it pronounced Wi-ni-ka
or
Win-eek-a

ofwarren · 04/09/2022 20:34

Absolutely dreadful
Worst name I've seen on here in a while

Lots of valid willy related feedback. Think it’s put me off a bit!

I really don't like it - too much like winky, which is slang for Willy round here...

DramaAlpaca · 04/09/2022 20:23

Sorry but I think it's awful. Winnie is hideous too.

Starryskiesinthesky · 04/09/2022 20:20

Hmmm not keen. Like Winnie though.

Luredbyapomegranate · 04/09/2022 20:18

Yes, I misread it as Winkia - so it sounds something like a cute name for a penis.

But if you are going to call her Winnie anyway, it's OK I guess.

I both love it and hate it and I'm not really sure why.

I think it sounds a little like a name you might use for penis, willy/Winky/winika.
