Thoughts on the name Bodhi?

Baby boy due soon had a name I really like, Bodhi was a name I had in mind, have you heard anyone named Bodhi? Any other ideas with the letter b would be helpful.thank you for reading.

I have come across a few children called a Bodhi.
I think it’s great if he grows up to be a good looking, floppy haired, tanned surfer type. Not so much if he turns out to be very ordinary and drives a white van.

It’s a surfer type name to me. It would be a bit funny if he turned out to be a flat-footed land lubber.

I'm quite surprised I like it as it's not my 'type' but I really do. Maybe it's the Patrick Swayze thing but it's cute.

I've met a Bodhi and he was so cute and exactly how you'd picture him. Blonde, long hair, tanned beach bum. Mum wearing a wafty dress and Birkenstocks.

The leading actor in Discovery of Witches called her son Bodhi. The youngest , a daughter, is called Poet.
I imagine the parents of a Bodhi being laid back and practising yoga.

I really don't like Bodhi. It has a "I'm a z list celebrity who is attempting to be alternative" vibe to it. In fact, if you Google "Famous people called Bodhi" I'm sure you'll find them to be children of z list celebrities who are trying (and failing) to be alternative and interesting.

Some ‘celeb’ recently called their baby girl this recently. I thought it was a boys name tbh. I don’t like it at all but I suppose it’s just personal taste.
Not sure the Haskells would call themselves celebs tbh.

I couldn’t remember who it was but why not? They’ve been giving interviews all over the place, he’s been on I’m a Celebrity, she’s been on Pointless Celebrity and something else with celebrity in the title, the full name of which is escapes me. I might have been more accurate if I’d described them as ‘minor celebrities’.

It’s too fashionable at the moment - I keep hearing it. People think they’re bring cool and unusual but it’s going to boom in 5 years there will be a couple in every reception class.

I met a girl with this name but didn't see it written down. I didn't know about the Buddhist connection, and only thought of Bodie and Doyle in the Professionals. I don't like the sound of it and can't figure out why.
