What do you think to these girl names?

We have narrowed it down to three names...

Esme
Clara
Rosanna

Me and DH both have our favourites, but his favourite is my least favourite and vice versa, typical!

What are your thoughts/opinions?

Love Clara (can't think of any cons and it's an all-time favourite of mine)
Like Rosanna (nice but a bit fussy IMO)
Strongly dislike Esme (too popular/different ways of pronouncing)

Clara and Rosanna are equally lovely imo.

Esme depends on pronunciation.
Ezmay yes, Ezmee no.

Comes in third anyway.

I like Esme the best 😊 not sure where you stay but I’ve never known 2 ways to pronounce it like others are saying. Is a common name in the UK 😊

I love the name Rosanna, I know two and both go by Zanna rather than Rose/Rosie

Clara is my favourite.
Rosanna reminds me of the song by Toto.

I really like Rosanna. Also Rosemary.

Clara - I prefer the clair-ah pronunciation than the clah-ra

esme I don’t really have an opinion on. Nice enough but I wouldn’t use it myself.

All beautiful names!

Esme can be pronounced multiple ways.

Rosanna would likely be shortened to Rose or Rosie. (I love Rose and Rosie but if you don't, I wouldn't use Rosanna.)

I cant think of any cons for Clara.

I love Clara.
Esme would probably be my next choice.
I'm not so keen on Rosanna.

To me personally, they are all a bit meh. But there's nothing actually wrong with any of them. Out of the 3, I'd go with Clara (best), Rosanna (middling), Esme (worst).

The important thing is that you like your child's name(s) and that they work well together with surname, with and without any middle names included, and also don't spell anything embarrassing with the initials.

Esme is everywhere, and there’s too much hassle with the pronunciation.

Not keen on Rosanna.

esme is my least favourite because of the pronunciation thing. The two I know are Ez-mee

Like Rosanna too

Really don't like Esme - very common name where I live, there's 3 little esmes in my street and quite a few in school too - spelt the same but pronounced differently - Ezmay? Esmee? She would spend her life correcting the pronunciation!
