How about Erica?

I really love the name Erica. Latin for Heather. Would it be weird if I have a daughter called Phoebe? (Thinking of the Friends connection - but possibly overthinking!)

I like it. Didn't make the friends connection until you pointed it out. Phoebe and Rachel or Monica would be hard to avoid friends association I feel but

Erica, Mona, Emily, Janice, Kathy, Julie, Susan or Helen. Are not as associated so I think you are fine.

I dislike Eric for a boy but really like the name Erica. Funny that it's a Stranger Things character name as it always reminds me of a cool 1980s American girl.

Really love it, also prefer the Erika spelling. I watched pretty much every episode of Friends and didn't make any connection between Phoebe and Erika at all. I wouldn't associate it with America either using the Erika spelling, I'd say that has more of a Scandi vibe.

I really wouldn't spell it Erika - that's a lifetime of correcting people for her.

I love Erica but DH ruled it out. Something about a streaker in a rugby match way back in oh 1527BC. Very annoying.

I liked Erica too until someone said it was very American and tends to be linked with pushy evangelical women.

No idea if true, but i read the same on Mumsnet a few months ago too

Haven't seen Friends, so don't know about any connection.

I like the name but don't think it goes with Phoebe, not that it has too .....

I think Phoebe and Emmie or Lily or Millie or even Hallie.

(For the stranger things fans)

I’m not actually a fan of the name OP but I don’t know any Ericas and think it’s quite an uncommon name which would be good for your dd. I like friends but wouldn’t associate it with friends, more with stranger things because I have recently been watching it (the character named Erica in it is great btw)

Love it, was on my list for DC 2 but had a boy! I prefer the spelling Erika but either way I wouldn't have associated it with Friends and it goes really well with Phoebe
