For a girl? What do we think?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I love it, but we ended up not using it because it didn’t seem quite right with our surname.

Also, it’s a bit long for daily use. I never understand why people use those long, classic, traditional names (beautiful as they may be) when they plan to call the baby something else.

If you’ll CALL the baby Hump, then NAME the baby Hump! Or Humph if you have Continental European heritage.

debwong · 21/08/2022 16:56

I phink it's phoroughly phantastic

Leafy3 · 21/08/2022 16:55

And she shall be called Humpy.

And you'll get sick to death of Rihanna.

God poor child that’s awful. People will do anything for their child to stand out from the crowd. Bloody awful parenting

I suspect this "parent" has no concerns...

mathanxiety · 21/08/2022 16:49

Far too frilly.

And how will the little sweetie ever learn to spell such a long name or manage the PH before she gets that far in phonics?

Something tells me you haven't fully thought this one through, OP.

Is this a new I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue game, in honour of Humph?

If not, why not?

Onceuponatimethen · 21/08/2022 16:25

It’s nice but a bit bland IMO - sorry op!

AgathaPastie · 21/08/2022 16:24

I much prefer Consuela-Bananahammock

Maireas · 21/08/2022 16:23

A sibling for Winnie and Buzz 🤣

ChagSameachDoreen · 21/08/2022 16:19

Every second baby I meet these days is named Humphrella. Be a bit more imaginative, OP.

ReginaPerrin · 21/08/2022 15:44

Humphrella-Bella-Ella uh (tell me more, tell me more, did you get very far).

🤣 not with a name like that

Sooveritallnow · 21/08/2022 16:15

CaptainCreepsBourgeMobile · 21/08/2022 14:27

I think Grimes and Elon Musk took that name.

🤣🤣

fucketyfuckwit · 21/08/2022 16:13

Sounds like a wet fart!

Sooveritallnow · 21/08/2022 16:08

I prefer Perspicacious. I don't really see how Humphrella would flow with any middle or surname.

MenaiMna · 21/08/2022 15:56

Middle name Balonza?

Skelligsfeathers · 21/08/2022 15:48

What's the surname?
Dies it flow nicely?

MrsMoastyToasty · 21/08/2022 15:46

I personally prefer Hughetta, but that's because it goes with our surname Da Pies.

OhMerde · 21/08/2022 15:46

I prefer Harumph.

Humphrella-Bella-Ella uh (tell me more, tell me more, did you get very far).

Diverseopinions · 21/08/2022 15:42

Great for a tortoise. I used to holiday sit for a boy tortoise called Humphrey, so a female called Humphrella to partner him would have been perfect!

Kerrrmieee · 21/08/2022 15:33

Humphrella-Bella

Kerrrmieee · 21/08/2022 15:32

Humptastic!

stuntbubbles · 21/08/2022 15:30

Could you hyphenate it? Humphrella-Mae?

BeggarsMeddle · 21/08/2022 15:29

maddiemookins16mum · 21/08/2022 15:25

Nah, maybe go with Clittorise instead.

Or the Italian version - Clittorissa.
