For a girl? What do we think?

So wicked to give a girl this name. I vote for 'Humph' - short, snappy & edgy and can sound like a sneeze or a bark or throat-clear, depending. Dare to be different

LakeIsle48 · 05/03/2023 01:04

Thanks I really needed a good ol laugh

Daisybuttercup12345 · 05/03/2023 00:57

Humphrella the Umbrella

LuluBlakey1 · 05/03/2023 00:52

Or Normanella, Normella, Pumphella, Timothella?

LuluBlakey1 · 05/03/2023 00:51

What about Wilfiella?

Middle name? Why, Ottilie of course.

Love it. Sounds like a Roald Dahl character 😆

LuluBlakey1 · 05/03/2023 00:50

Please say it's a joke!

Bigbus · 05/03/2023 00:50

I think it would be more original if you went for Humph-Leigh-Mae.

Judgyjudgy · 05/03/2023 00:46

Is this a joke I've missed?? It's worse than Balonz!

user1492757084 · 05/03/2023 00:43

There are many better Ella names to choose.

I love Humphrey for a boy. Humphrey B bear.

I prefer the original name Humbrella. All the Humphrellas I have met have been quite naughty. I also like the male equivalent Humfella.

Humbrella is lovely. Although as I am from the Hull area I'd probably go for Humberella. I might choose for Thamesine as a middle name to stick with the estuary theme.

JellyDeels · 23/08/2022 13:09

So obviously this is a joke, but the more and more I read this thread, it's weirdly growing on me... 😂 not for a real life human of course, but Humphrella would make a great name for a mystical character in a story!

midsomermurderess · 22/08/2022 13:16

Rosiethecat15 · 22/08/2022 12:19

What would the middle name be?

You're having a laugh

Squashedraddish · 21/08/2022 17:42

I like it

😜

caringcarer · 21/08/2022 17:38

It's rediculous.

BeanieTeen · 21/08/2022 17:37

Makes me think of Hephalump from the Winnie the Pooh movie. My three year old watches it all the time. Humphrella could be the little Hephalump’s mum’s name.

SizzlerFizzler · 21/08/2022 17:11

tears streaming down your face?

at this thread?

I'm either having a sense of humour failure or there are a lot of unfunny 'joke' threads in this topic lately.

I think you're probably having a sense of humour failure... I've got tears streaming down my face. And I've never really understood when people have made this claim on threads I've read on the past.
