Choosing between three baby girl names

Hi, I'm pregnant with a baby girl and my husband and I have narrowed it down to three names but we can't decide which one to pick, as we like them all in different ways so I thought I'd ask for opinions.

The names are: Melody, Keira and Annabella.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you.

I prefer Keira by a long way. I've only ever met one Keira although she is Irish so it is Ciara. But it's lovely.

Keira then Melody. Annabella not as nice as Isabella.

Yes I was confused about that. I didn't know it was Italian but I always knew Ciara as a completely different name to Keira, pronounced 'see-ar-ah' with three syllables like the singer while Keira was pronounced 'keer-ah' with two syllables.

Melody - love it
Keira - like it but could cause spelling confusion
Annabella - definitely not but if your leaning that way go with Annabelle

Ah, yes, you're right, I forgot about the 'h'. And I really shouldn't - I know at least one of each of those! 😬

Annabella!
I find Melody actually kind of ugly and Mel is horrible.
Keira is just ok.

@stickygotstuck I think you have got mixed up. Ciara is Irish and pronounced the same as Keira. Chiara is Italian and pronounced key-ah-ra.

I don't like either of the other two, sorry (my own name is very similar to one of them and I dislike that too)

Keira but spelt Ciara. Not keen on Melody at all and Annabelle reminds me of a bitch of an ex boss who shortened everyone else's names without asking but insisted on being called her full first name at all times. Snobby cow.

I also really like Annabella shortened to Annie not Bella though
I'm not a big fan of Melody. Though I like Melanie and Melissa

Either Keira or Annabella depending on what sounds better w your surname

Melody - I would just fear she’d end up
Mel which is grim

The ‘proper’ spelling of Ciara is like this, or Anglicised to Kiera - Keira is a misspelling popularised by Keira Knightly (her Dad got it wrong on her birth cert) if you care about that.

Annabella - seems made up, even autocorrects to Annabelle (which would be nice).

Keira - the best one by far. A strong feminine name. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with spelling it that way, it’s just a preference. I’m Irish so would spell Ciara but they’re both nice.

Melody - sorry I think it’s a bit tacky. Agree with other poster that people will hear ‘Melanie’.

Melody is cute, I had Elodie on my list for my little girl.

Keira not too much of a fan of personally.

I think Annabelle/Annabella are both really cute names. Can use Annie as a cute nick name which I also really like x
