Baby boy born last week. We have no real shortlist…or at least nothing that feels like ‘the one’. I had a popular 80/90s name and hated being known as name + first letter of surname at school. Big sister is Annie.

Thoughts on these names please (and any suggestions welcome)…
Noah (nice but super popular. DH likes this name best)
Eddie (DH likes, I feel neutral, definitely don’t love it)
Xander
Ezra
Arthur

Any other ideas? Middle name will probably be Charlie or Charles (family name).

Thank you!

I have a friend who named her son Luca (DH is Italian) I always liked that name

Congratulations! Annie is lovely.

Have a look at the popularity on darkgreener.
Bear in mind that names like Theo might be even more popular than they seem because names like Theodore that shorten to Theo are counted separately.

Noah - extremely popular around here. #4 in England & Wales
Eddie - ok if short for Edward, Edwin, Edgar or Edmund
Xander - not keen. Alexander is better
Ezra - don't like it at all
Arthur - very popular, a bit matchy-matchy with Annie. #3 on darkgreener

I'd go for something more traditional like Peter or something. If you like Arthur you might like Ethan.

Love Noah! There’s only one in my DS’s year at school so it’s not everywhere where we are.

Not a fan of Xander but like Ezra.
