If I want a simple boys name

Hi

We have quite an unusual surname and would like a simple, easy to spell/pronounce name for our boy due later this year. We like Jack, Max and Fred for reference - just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions! Surname is one syllable.

Thanks!

I think if surname one syllable, it might sound better to have a first name with more than one syllable (depends on your actual surname obviously). Two one syllable names can potentially by a bit short and abrupt.

I agree with this.

I have a Hugo.
