What do you think of this name for a baby girl?
Names also on my list are Milencia and Astoria.

They're all quite unique names and all end in an "ia" sound which I love. If anyone has any similar suggestions please let me know.

How about Colincia instead?

Sorry, no. It sounds to like you were trying to invent a female version of Terence, which itself is a terrible, dated name. Please don't call her that.

Surely there's a happy medium between your child being one of four Isabellas in the class, and her being instantly identifiable forever, even when she might not want to be? A name isn't somehow worth less, or a child less unique, because there's more than one example of it. Or we all might as well just have numbers.

Ghastly. Sounds like a brand of floor tiles. And Milencia like my dog's worming tablet. Astoria was a hotel chain.

Family history is my hobby. In the 1800's you seem to have about 4 choices for girls names and about the same for boys. The choices these days are almost limitless, yet people still want "unique". The more you aim for unique the more ridiculous they become.

Mary, Jane and Elizabeth are sounding good right now.

It's awful. As is Colincia, sounds like a procedure. Just relax and we will start the colincia now, your bowel issues will soon be sorted.

As a pp said, why not Arla. Victoria is lovely and classic but I appreciate you're looking for something 'yoonique'.

Not ending in -ia but I think it gives you the vibe/rarity that you're looking for (I won't say uniqueness, as it's an actual name).....
What about Terezita? Shortened to Zita, I think it sounds great.

If you like names ending in -ia how about something more conventional? Julia, Amelia/Emilia, Olivia, Natalia, Maria, Lydia, Anastasia, Valeria, Nadia, Aurelia, Silvia, Daria...

@GrandSlamFinalee Have always loved the name Victoria but it just doesn't have the unique aspect I'm looking for sadly.
Aria is beautiful though, will definitely add that to my list.

It sounds like a man called Terrence wanting to name his daughter after himself so ‘feminising’ the name. Like Nigel Lawson did with daughter Nigella.

Terentia is a Latin name. Would probably be Terenzia in Italian if it exists.

Much prefer Valencia, though.

Milencia sounds like an ancient insect that will be in the next Jurassic park.
