Rosabelle?

Pretty or trying too hard to be traditional but different?
Would personally shorten to Belle not Rosa as MIL name is Rose (love her to bits) so not worried about it being similar.

Love Belle.
Rosabelle doesn't sound great to me and looks a bit made-up- that's to say, it's not really a classic, is it?
Sounds like the kind of name that usually the parent sticks a hyphen in the middle of iyswim.
Sorry.
Personally l'd use Annabelle or Isabelle.

I'm conflicted on this one. I generally like 'Rosa-' names (love Rosalind and Rosanna, like Rosamund) and I don't exactly dislike Rosabelle but it feels a bit more twee and 'consumptive heroine from a minor Victorian novel' than the others. Would you pronounce it 'Rozzabelle' or 'Rose-a-belle'?
