Husband or mine names part 2

Hey, it's me again lol. Baby is born, and it's girl. She still doesn't have a name.

Husband and I are still "arguing" about the name because he is picking , what I find, a ridiculous name! He dropped the "Harper-Rose" when I showed him the comments. But now he's determined to have her named "Levi-Lily" Please tell me it ridiculous because his mother thinks it's a good name.

We both like the name Alba, but he keeps saying she looks like a Levi-Lily. No. She does not. Anyone like his choice?

Congratulations on your new baby!
Levi is a male name and is in the bible, so unless your baby is in fact a boy and you are religious, that's not the name for you.
Alba is lovely. Alba Lily? Sounds pretty.

Personally - hyphenated first names sound common, cliched and outdated to me.

Levi-Lily sound like the name of a pharmaceutical company.

Levi-lily sounds like a drag name! Alba all the way. Just start calling her Alba OP there's not much he can do if you start using the name

Alba is horrid, but it's better than Levi-Lily.

Alba Lily as a compromise? I can't bring myself to put a hyphen in but you could.

Lily is lovely though, so simple and pretty.

Alba is an old cheap brand of electronics, like stereos.
Levi is a boys name, brand of jeans or a town in Finland.

Lily is nice.

What about Matthew-Lily? Levi is a male name, not unisex. With this name there's a guarantee your daughter will be bullied for her name. Please stand your ground.

Lily is a nice name. Could you go for that as a first name?

I proposed that. Should we named her Lily? He refuses. He wants a hyphenated name with Levi in it. I said HELL NO. So he agreed to go through names again, and we both loved Alba . So Alba was our name if it was a girl, and Levi for a boy ( I compromised).

Well after I gave birth, 3 days ago, he changed his mind. In the hospital. she still has no name because he is again starting with his Levi thing. Levi-Rose, Levi-May , Levi-Jane, but the ONE for him is now Levi-Lily. I hate it and find it ridiculous
