Thoughts on the name Eloise? Nicknames??

I know one Eloise ( named for the Damned song ) she's always always been weezer which really suits her.

My DD was given Eloise as her middle name after ‘The Damned’s version of Eloise. Love it

DD’s friend is called Ellie as often as she is called Eloise. It’s a lovely name.

I love Eloise (also sing the Damned song when I hear it). Elise is lovely too.

not sure how you get Nellie or Essie from Eloise though. Essie sounds a bit too Loch Ness monster to me.

Ellie would probably be the diminutive. Nicknames evolve , not everyone has one.
