Evelyn - Most common pronunciation

Would you say:

Eve-lin
Ehv-lin
Ev-uh-lin

I’m just curious as to which pronunciation is most popular. It’s one of those names that is nice but nobody ever seems to agree on how to say.

I go with whatever the Evelyn in question uses. But if they are female then I go with Ev-a-lyn, male and I got with Eve-lyn

We have Ev-lin and Ev-er-lin in the family to distinguish between the two people.

Ehv-lin. Agree with you it’s lovely and you’d just need to accept varied pronunciation if you wanted to use it.

Our DD's name is pronounced halfway between Ehvlin and Evuhlin. There's almost a 3rd syllable but not quite.
