What are your thoughts on Florimund for a boy?

Parents need to keep in mind that their kid has to live the "yoonique" name they pick.

WhackingPhoenix · 16/07/2022 21:48

Florian or Florin, lovely. Edmund, lovely.

Florimund, not so lovely. Cummerbund Grin

bluebellsandcustard · 16/07/2022 21:47

Floribund moribund.

No way.

miffmufferedmoof · 16/07/2022 21:47

Makes me think of the words ‘florid’ and ‘moribund’. Not ideal

Classica · 16/07/2022 21:44

Hideous. Sounds like the brand name of a liquid iron supplement.

monicagellerbing · 16/07/2022 21:41

Christ 🤣🤣🤣

LondonQueen · 16/07/2022 21:28

Aquamarine1029 · 16/07/2022 19:16

Sounds like a species of mould.

🤣🤣

Cas112 · 16/07/2022 21:15

What😂

Primatrying · 16/07/2022 21:14

I thought it was interesting as I wasn't sure if it was a boy's name from Florian + Edmund, or a girl's name from Flora + Rosamund. It sounds made up.

Tbh I've heard worse suggestions on here but it's not something I'd choose!

Spanielsarepainless · 16/07/2022 20:40

Dreadful.

Sloebluewalls · 16/07/2022 20:40

Awful but I like Florian

JennyForeigner · 16/07/2022 20:40

You could call his sister Florizel

😆

Aquamarine1029 · 16/07/2022 19:16

Sounds like a species of mould.

Laughed out loud.

CaptainCorellisXylophone · 16/07/2022 20:16

No. No again. Hard no.

alphapie · 16/07/2022 19:58

No

MadMadMadamMim · 16/07/2022 19:57

Florimund would be a target for getting the shit kicked out of him at most schools round here...

FlissyPaps · 16/07/2022 19:53

Sorry OP, it’s awful.

Florian sounds much nicer!

Thefriendlymoth · 16/07/2022 19:49

Florian or Edmund are both quite fine. The combination of the two, I think you’d legitimately have to be a prince to pull it off.

17caterpillars1mouse · 16/07/2022 19:28

I came across it as Prince Florimund whilst reading my daughter Sleeping Beauty. I've always quite liked Florian and Edmund so wondered what others think. Clearly it's a no lol

With food, no alcohol. Sounds a bit like medicine. Florian much better.

Divebar2021 · 16/07/2022 19:23

I assumed it was a new drug being trialled. How about Fabian? I once met an exceptionally handsome American soldier who was called Fabian. ( it turned out his name was really Billy but I will always think of the name fondly) 😀

Princessoftheuniverse · 16/07/2022 19:23

Thought it was going to be for a girl. It sounds like an air freshener. Please don’t.

TiredYorkshireMam · 16/07/2022 19:22

Was going so say it wasn't great, assumed for a girl.

Would be very surprised if that's actually a boys name.

CliffordDanger · 16/07/2022 19:21

Moribund.

DramaAlpaca · 16/07/2022 19:20

It's a bit, well, flowery. Especially for a boy.
