Too similar?

So I have a little boy already - Ronan. We have another on the way and as soon as we found out he was a boy too we've loved the name Rory. So Ronan and Rory.

Now it's getting closer to my due date I'm worrying they are too similar - any thoughts?

Funny how mixed opinions can be! I think it's OK personally. They sound completely different. Just start with the same 2 letters.

I think it's OK but you aren't allowed to get shitty if people get them muddled up. I know a family with two boys with similar names and I cannot remember which one is which for the life of me!

Pac35 · 08/07/2022 15:44

I think they're perfect together

Sound like you're trying to get them similar. Very 'twin'names. Both nice though so go with it if you like them.

I'd say too similar.

I know a Rowan and Rory never thought it to be too similar.
I think Ronan and Rory sound lovely together.
