I don't know if it's the hormones(time of month not pregnancy) but Prudence is beginning to have a certain charm. Somehow it seems adorable to me when I picture it on a little girl.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@MargheritaAndMargaritaPlease yes!!!! Angus and Hamish were both on my boy shortlist. I pushed SO HARD for Angus but DH would not budge, said he knew a boy in school etc, I managed to get him to reluctantly consider it as a middle name. Also got a hard no for Hamish, luckily I had a girl Grin

We had neighbours called Hamish and Angus. We used to call them Hamish and Anguish.

MarianosOnHisWay · 27/06/2022 07:18

I like the name Dorcas… but it has the word “dork” in it 😂

ShirleyJackson · 27/06/2022 07:16

Doris. It’s so cool. Also Jean.

I like Ruben.

Ravenclawdropout · 27/06/2022 04:44

Gary because I has a massive crush on Gary at school, he had incredible eyes and was a total scoundrel. I treated him with aloof contempt of course to throw my classmates off the scent.

ChagSameachDoreen · 27/06/2022 04:39

I've always liked Hans for a boy and Leona for a girl

Elspethelf · 27/06/2022 03:59

If I have a DD I intend to use the middle name Beverly. It’s my mums name and she hates it and tells me not to give it to a baby but I love it as a middle name. I wouldn’t use it as a first name as I dislike Bev, but said in full I think it’s lovely

Luredbyapomegranate · 26/06/2022 23:19

I quite like prudence

If you lay your prejudices aside I think Mavis and Enid are quite nice sounding, and since Mabel and Edith hand been revived I don’t see way they shouldn’t be.

Indiana2021 · 26/06/2022 23:17

Another vote for Astrid. There's just something about it!
