I imagine the names that were common for our greatgrandmothers depends how old we are. I don't know any of mine but my grandmothers were born in the 1890s and they were Mary and Katherine. This was possibly when other posters greatgrandmothers were born.

Golly, I'm not sure I know GREAT grandmas.

One was Betsy, so I guess she was Elizabeth. I don't know the other.

On maternal side they were called Mildred? and Sarah I think.
