Yakira or Indira?

If she goes to school in the UK, she doesn’t want to be called a Yak or Yucky.

Indira definitely- brings to mind the former Indian prime minister, a strong woman.
Yakira makes me think of a yak unfortunately.

Yak was slang for vomit at school. Don't know how common this is but am going to mention.

As I've already said Indira is a lovely name.

Love Indira! It was on our list as well for similar reasons. It's beautiful in the ears and hard to mess up pronunciation-wise which was a factor for us.
