Would you assume someone with the name Natasha was born in December?

It means “Christmas Day”and i have a daughter due in October but im concerned it’s not sound right on someone not born near Christmas. I just think this name is very classy and pretty and isn’t really heard of nowadays. Thoughts?

No, I had no idea

I have an October born Natasha, i had no idea that was the meaning. I'm sure I read that it meant Princess, but I cant find any reference to that now.

my friend is one and is a december baby! it can also mean christmas gift i think

Doubleraspberry · 07/06/2022 18:08

The Natasha I know was born on Boxing Day but is Jewish and doesn't celebrate Christmas; if asked to guess, I'd think her name is a coincidence! I never knew its meaning before. I did know about Natalie, so have just never processed the connection.

Chakraleaf · 07/06/2022 18:02
