Polly or Martha

Hi everyone, due a baby girl next month and am so bored of debating names with husband! I have narrowed it down to-

Polly Elizabeth
Martha Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a family name. Is Polly too cutesy or Martha too drab?!

Lovely names but I would choose Elizabeth as a first name,beautiful name.I like Martha as a second choice.

I like Polly better. Martha sounds a bit drab to me.

Martha. Polly has a rather unattractive sound imo and it's a little too cutesy.

Thanks for positive feedback, I do like Molly but to me it sounds a bit more like a nick name than Polly does. Polly is not common though which in many ways is good but makes me question why not!

You pinpointed the hesitation I have with both - Polly a bit cutesy and Martha a bit drab. I would definitely go with Polly - Polly in Peaky Blinders was anything but cutesy.

Slightly prefer Polly (but like both of them actually). What combining them = Molly?

Two really nice names! Polly is the stronger of the two.
