It may come from Celtic Caradoc, meaning 'beloved'. Ivanhoe and Harry Potter character.
I think it should be used more.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I thought of the HP character. I wouldn't.

Fritilleries · 01/06/2022 08:47

Absolutely not. I mean, for starters he died in the Goblet of Fire.

Dancefever · 01/06/2022 08:45

Noooo it’s really bad.

CaptainMyCaptain · 01/06/2022 08:43

I think it could be due for a revival as there won't be many of the previous Cedric's around now. I imagine them as crusty WW1 veterans with toothbrush moustaches but they were all babies once.

Go for it!

Justkeeppedaling · 01/06/2022 08:42

I prefer Caradoc/Caradog

jacquettalux · 01/06/2022 08:42

I like it!

IHateWasps · 01/06/2022 08:41

It's awful. Wet and has a rather unattractive sound.

toastofthetown · 01/06/2022 08:39

I really like Cedric. It’s strong without being too harsh sounding.

PersonaNonGarter · 01/06/2022 08:23

Love it.

nearlyspringyay · 01/06/2022 08:22

I kind of like it

babyjellyfish · 01/06/2022 08:22

I quite like it.

KangarooKenny · 01/06/2022 08:15

I don’t.
