Slightly prefer Kaia

Anystarinthesky · 24/05/2022 00:54

I really like Saskia.

Cloud16 · 24/05/2022 00:46

I've warmed to Kaia from Where The Crawdads Sing (spelt Kya in the book though).

I think Saskia is nice too.

Sorry no help at all there 🙃

Luredbyapomegranate · 23/05/2022 23:16

Saskia by a country mile

Kaia.. I just think will get popular but not in a good way..

ClassicGreen · 23/05/2022 21:14

For what it is worth, I can picture both a Saskia and a Kaia on an Olympic podium collecting a medal. Both work for me!

Saltnpepperr · 23/05/2022 20:30

Saskia 100% love it

cptartapp · 23/05/2022 18:14

Saskia. Strong and classy.
Too many Maia type names. Mia, Maya, Mara. Insubstantial.

Snowiscold · 23/05/2022 18:04

Saskia

Firebird83 · 23/05/2022 17:44

Kaia

Snoopsnoggysnog · 23/05/2022 05:56

I really dislike Saskia, I find it awkward to say. I like Kaia but it’s one of those names that it not going to be popular on MN.

Suuu · 23/05/2022 05:41

Thank you for your feedback…I really appreciate it

I love Saskia. Like others I'd struggle with how to pronounce Kaia. Is it Kaya or Kya.

User6761 · 22/05/2022 22:56

I wouldn't be sure how to pronounce Kaia, it's not a name I'm familiar with - I'd guess Kay-a.

I don't like Saskia at all, I find it awkward to say, but I can see I'm in the minority.

I quite like Kaia tbh, a real Californian surfer girl name, but I prefer Saskia of the two.

Reminds me of Rembrandt's wife.

(And on a different cultural note, there was a Saskia in Eastenders back in the day. I think she clobbered Martin Kemp to death.)

I seem to remember something about a glass ashtray.

Saskia, Kaia is a not nice slang term where I live.

Pixilicious1 · 22/05/2022 22:46

Saskia 100%

jacquettalux · 22/05/2022 22:43

Kaia. Simple, beautiful and strong. Saskia feels fussy to me. Also makes me think Sassy Saskia, which may not be a bad thing. It just feels like a big name to carry somehow. Overall though, both are nice!

bluespottyladybird · 22/05/2022 20:46

Saskia

JemimaTiggywinkle · 22/05/2022 20:41

Saskia is a great name.
Kaia is a bit meh, lacking substance. Kaia, Gaia, Maya. Think it could date badly too.

Gooseberryberry · 22/05/2022 20:38

Saskia. Classic. Good name for cute child, a grown woman who means business and a sweet older lady.

Kaia. Pretty, but too try-hard to be cool.

midsomermurderess · 22/05/2022 20:30

Saskia. It’s lovely.

Musmerian · 22/05/2022 20:27

Saskia - gorgeous name and not overused.

Greatoutdoors · 22/05/2022 20:26

Penguinsaregreat · 22/05/2022 20:25

Saskia by a mile.

ElenaSt · 22/05/2022 20:23

MissPocket · 22/05/2022 20:21
