Can’t get this make out of my head despite originally settling on something else!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Snowiscold · 15/05/2022 20:14

I like it.

MooseBreath · 15/05/2022 19:59

It makes me think "Thumbelina". Not keen, but if you like it, maybe it's right for your family!

DogsAndGin · 15/05/2022 18:52

I love it!

PoemBeatrice · 15/05/2022 06:15

I love Thomasina, but I feel Tamsin might be more wearable.

I once met a woman called Kevina.

I know 2 Kevina's, completely different parts of my life and no way do they know each other. It's a real name, awful, but real. lol

Thomasina always makes me think of Thumbelina.

Fizzyfish · 15/05/2022 03:56

No way, it's awful

Topseyt123 · 15/05/2022 03:31

Not my cup of tea, but I have heard worse.

mathanxiety · 15/05/2022 03:23

Love it ever since reading The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse a gazillion times to little DD2 many, many years ago.

LondonQueen · 15/05/2022 02:32

What the hell...

cdba88 · 15/05/2022 02:15

Emilia Thomasina is the name of that irksome YouTube family who exploits their children for money.

GlamGiraffe · 15/05/2022 01:50

Can it be spelt Tomasina? Thats a bit less obvious than a "girlified" version of Thomas but sounds tue same. I've seen it spelt that way before.

alionthatneedscourage · 15/05/2022 01:32

Tamsin is better.

HaveringWavering · 15/05/2022 01:09

I once met a woman called Kevina.

Enko · 15/05/2022 01:06

I like it

This ^ I just don't like the sound it it because its a mouthful and sounds masculine to me. A 4 syllable 1st name is rather long and would often be shortened, but what would would be a nn for this? Tom, Tommy, Toma, Sina?

Sorry, but all are awful, but maybe I'm missing a lovely nn for Thomasina I'm just not aware of?

Tina would work as a nickname (Thomasina).

Firebird83 · 15/05/2022 00:41

I really like it. Also like Thomasin and Tamsin as well.

Birdie746 · 15/05/2022 00:08

Cute name.

Happenchance · 14/05/2022 23:56

Like it!

HorribleHerstory · 14/05/2022 23:54

I don’t love female versions of male names but I like the sound and it comes across as quite elegant to me.

I don’t know why people would say you wanted a boy more than they would say that of Josephine, Stephanie, Cecily, Louise/a, Alexandra

StrawberryLipstickStateOfMind1 · 14/05/2022 23:50

I know an adult and baby Thomasin, both known as Thomi which I love, but then it's perhaps because I know them.

MissMaple82 · 14/05/2022 23:46

Yack

LostInTheColonies · 14/05/2022 23:35

Very cool name. I know one of 16!

Came across elderly ladies in the Highlands called Hughina and Angusina some years ago. Not cool names 🤣🤣
