I prefer Reva

HJ40 · 07/04/2023 16:43

Probably already been decided by now Smile

Monkeytapper · 07/04/2023 16:41

I prefer the Reeva spelling

HappyMe6 · 07/04/2023 16:39

Reva

whatausername · 09/05/2022 00:58

Reva, prefer it spelt Reeva though.

ButterRose · 07/05/2022 14:02

I like Reva there are simply too many Aria's around it's become one of those Aria S or Aria M? names

Luredbyapomegranate · 05/05/2022 23:50

Aria of the two

Reva just reminds me of the poor girl who was murdered

But neither very distinguished..

queenofmay · 05/05/2022 12:29

I like Aria. It is very popular among the current generation of children though, so it might become a "dated" name which is something to consider.

My problem with Reva is I'm not sure whether to pronounce it with the long E or short E. If it's pronounced the long E (rhyming with Eva) then I think it's very pretty. The short E pronunciation is not as nice to my ears.

TheTeddyBears · 04/05/2022 22:48

Aria.

Reva I don't like at all to put it mildly.

CantStartaFireWithoutaSpark · 04/05/2022 21:03

Aria! Such a beautiful name. GOT is done, it would be clutching at straws now to to say you copied it.

i don’t know any Aria’s and I’ve a young DD in nursery.

nocoolnamesleft · 04/05/2022 21:03

Is it pronounced Reeva or Rayva or Revva?

Iliada · 04/05/2022 20:57

Ariadna. Aria for short.

Apricote · 04/05/2022 13:17

Too many Arias now. Reva is better!

Chaoslatte · 04/05/2022 13:14

Reva doesn’t really sound like a person name to me. It reminds me more of a product name like ‘the Reva sofa in grey’ or ‘Reva dress’ or something. I don’t love Aria either - Ariana or Ariadne are nicer I think.

DuchessOfSausage · 04/05/2022 09:29

Of the two Reva. Aria is so nothingy

Snowiscold · 04/05/2022 09:24

I quite like both. Aria is a little bland sounding, but it’s quite a well-established name. It has nothing to do with GOT. Reva does make me think of poor Reeva, but that’s because it’s the only Reva/Reeva I know of. I prefer Aria, I think. I like the music link.

orchidsunrise · 04/05/2022 08:36

I'd pronounce Reva like Ray-vah

Keekabooyou · 04/05/2022 07:02

Love both! But aria is becoming more popular like Alyssa and Anna were a few years ago. You’ll know when she’s here. Good luck.

cushioncovers · 04/05/2022 07:01

I love Reva

JuneOsborne · 04/05/2022 06:56

Reva was on my list if ds1 was a girl. Love it.

Roselilly36 · 04/05/2022 06:50

Aria is quite popular. So out of the two choices I would choose Reva.

Namaste6 · 04/05/2022 06:29

Both! Reva Aria Surname.

Marty13 · 04/05/2022 02:04

I like Reva.
Aria is very GOT although a pretty name. I prefer it written Arya. But Reva is more unusual and poetic imo.

Feckingfeck · 04/05/2022 00:11

Reva sounds a bit like you are trying to say river in a posh accent 😬

Reya is nice though?

MarmiteCoriander · 03/05/2022 23:56

I like Aria as a name, but think of the Australian music awards- so its like naming her Brit awards, MTV, grammys etc if she ever travels.

How is Reva pronounced? Ree-va or Re-va? Not keen on the sound either way- sorry.
