I've only heard Ah-mee-lia and Ah-meal-ya (which I don't like)

I've only heard the first pronunciation in the UK. Behind the Name gives a-MEH-lya as a Spanish and Italian pronunciation, but not British.

I would expect the second pronunciation to be spelt Amalia.
