Currently pregnant with baby #3 and I can't find a name that I don't hate. I'm not finding out the sex so I need girls and boys names!
I liked Remy but my sister told me it reminds her of Remy the Rat 😂

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I got all of your attention with the headline ratatouille though didn't I? 😉
My question was if you were to have another baby right this second, what would you name it?... I just forgot to add that part!

Remy or Remi is a really ordinary French boy's name. For a girl, Romy.

User12398712 · 01/05/2022 14:54

So am I the only person that thought alcohol rather than rats? 😳

Branleuse · 01/05/2022 14:54

Remy is a great name. I dont think pf rattatouille particularly. I just think its a nice french name

Vampirethriller · 01/05/2022 14:49

I know a little boy called Remi, I like it

MarshaBradyo · 01/05/2022 14:45

If this thread had been Remy I’m not sure I would have thought of the movie

toastofthetown · 01/05/2022 14:43

I like Remy. Combining the spellings of Remy and Remi puts it in the top 150 for boys, so I don't think the rat association is too strong.

JoeGoldberg · 01/05/2022 14:35

I know a little girl with that name and I think it's cute.

Traumdeuter · 01/05/2022 14:35

How about Romi (for a girl)

I'm just relieved that you're not thinking of naming your baby Rataouille.

(The only Remy I know is a dog)

Grin Should do a poll on how many people open this thread thinking OMG Ratatouille is a dreadful name!

FayCarew · 01/05/2022 14:33

I was going to suggest you have your thread moved to Food and Recipes

It's OK but I have only heard it as a French man's name

NoSquirrels · 01/05/2022 14:33

Honestly, Remy makes me think of Ratatouille too. I love that film but I wouldn’t name my child that! It’s getting quite popular though.

What other names do you like (even if you can’t use them)?

BeforeGodAndAllTheFish · 01/05/2022 14:32

Well, almost anything is better than Ratatouille so sure, go with Remy.

viques · 01/05/2022 14:32

Rene or Renee, with or without accents ( I mean written accents, not ‘Allo ‘Allo)
