Currently pregnant with baby #3 and I can't find a name that I don't hate. I'm not finding out the sex so I need girls and boys names!
I liked Remy but my sister told me it reminds her of Remy the Rat 😂

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Also, I like Remy.

Does it go with your other children's names? If you already have slightly unusual ones I'd say go for it, but if you've got Mike and Dave, it might not work so well.

Another baby right now?

Oscar John or Edie Francesca
(first and middle, not doubled barrelled)

stimpyyouidiot · 02/05/2022 18:23

I like remy!

Skelligsfeathers · 02/05/2022 18:23

How about Reneè?

ratintherain · 02/05/2022 18:21

Meh.

Wailywailywaily · 02/05/2022 18:13

Phylida for a girl
Dorian for a boy

dizzydizzydizzy · 02/05/2022 13:27

I like Zoe, Francesca, Sophia, Alexandra, Catherine

Or

Alexander, Harvey, Matthew, Mark

But it really depends on what you like and what sounds good with your last name.

I once taught a Romany - pronounced ROMany not as in Gypsy. I thought it was a really pretty name

It's pretty but completely unusable

caecilius1 · 02/05/2022 09:09

Benedict or Benjamin for a boy.
Eleanor/ Helena for a girl.
First part of your question, I wouldn't have connected Remy with Ratatouille the movie. However, I don't like the name Remy. Sorry.

Remy is lovely ... ratatouille - not so much 😋

SlatsandFlaps · 02/05/2022 04:20

Zachary for a boy, Saskia for a girl. I already have a girl named Mackenzie

fallfallfall · 02/05/2022 03:20

i'm exhausted this evening so danielle or daniel.

Littlepond · 02/05/2022 03:07

I like Remy. I love the name Romy.

If I had a baby right now they'd be Phoebe or Jared

Latenightreader · 01/05/2022 23:53

I know a teenage Remi and she’s lovely. I’d never come across the name before.

ChocolateHippo · 01/05/2022 23:49

Benedict for a boy. Hallie or Jocelyn for a girl. Not sure these have the vibe you're looking for, though.

buzzwoodyandjessie · 01/05/2022 23:28

I like remy, I know a baby boy called romi and a girl around 8 called remmie.

If I was to have a baby tomorrow I'd call it Callie or Tate.

TeddyBeans · 01/05/2022 23:27

Remy makes me think of nick copes grandson before the ratatouille rat but that's because DS loves watching popcast on cbeebies. I haven't watched ratatouille in years so I guess it depends on exposure to the film? Fwiw I think it's a cute name

Luredbyapomegranate · 01/05/2022 23:17

Are you having a 65 year old French bloke?! Remy is odd unless you are.

Happymama24 · 01/05/2022 21:09

I know a remi and her little sister is called ruah

Howmuchwood · 01/05/2022 20:34

I know a Remi. He's a middle aged French man.

For a girl I'd go for Romy, or Ruby. For a boy Roman or Reuben. Rowan is also nice and could be gender neutral, although more popular as a girl's name I think.

Other neutral names
Alexander/Alexandra/Alex/Lex etc
Lindsay/Lindsey
Lesley/Leslie
Evelyn/Evelyne
Vivienne/Vivian
George/Georgina
Henry/Henriette/Harry/Hattie

Mol1628 · 01/05/2022 20:27

I know a female Remi. She’s ten. Great name.

bridgetreilly · 01/05/2022 20:24

I would name a girl Winifred Beulah and a boy Isaac Hezekiah. It’s probably a good thing I am not pregnant.

Lucienandjean · 01/05/2022 17:48

I like Remy, but really it's a French boy's name. I think that might cause some confusion for people.

JoeGoldberg · 01/05/2022 16:48

Pandora for a girl, Sebastian for a boy. Easy.
