I like all you boy names about equally — if I were to suggest more: James (Jamie), Jack, August, Miles, Luca/Luka, Oliver, Max, Flynn, and Graham would be my recommendations!

I have known a lot of people called william, all in their 20s and have never known any of them to get Willy,
Seven Will, two Billy, one William and one who goes by his last name
