Emma, Alice, Lucy, Louisa and Maria

What are your opinions on these names and what's your favourite and least favourite? Thanks.

Thanks for all the feedback, I can understand why some see them as boring names. I'm drawn to safe/plain names because mine is an unusual one and I had bad experiences with it at school. I like Cicely for example but I'd be worried to use it.

Those are all good names - my favourites would be Alice and Lucy, and my least favourite would be Freya.

I really like Lucy Alice as a first name, middle name combo. I also really like Louisa and quite like Emma

Eve is my least favourite and I find Rose very dull as it's so overdone. I do like Rosa though

Emma and Alice are classic names to me. Alice is my favourite of these. What about Grace?
Lucy to me overly sweet name.
Louisa is good. what about Maud?
Maria way too common to my liking.
Freya - goddess of agriculture and fertility.
Rose okay.
Eve way too common.

I really like your name list and don’t think you can wrong with any of them - classics, not dull at all.

My least favourites are Alice and Freya, while two perfectly nice names they just aren’t to my taste.

I love Emma, Lucy, Maria and Eve probably equally. I think Emma and Maria sound so refreshing for a 2022 baby.

I like all except Maria and Freya.

It's hard to choose a favourite because I love all the others, but I'll say Emma because I'd have used it if I'd had a girl.

My dd has one of those names. When we chose it, it was quite unusual Hmm and then blasted off. Was also my grandma's name.

I think your dilemma is to chose something classic, pretty and that endures. I think you need to forward to the next generation: Shirley, Silvia, Patsy, Jane, Susan Shock.

I like Emma. Could be more interesting as Emmeline, but classic as it is. The names as a group sound like my 80s primary school class
