Use Chelsy, Cally, Dulcie, Kelly, or Elsie.

KirstenBlest · 27/04/2022 12:57

Kelly and Chelsea are nicer but dated.

Can't say I'm keen but you probably wouldn't be keen on my name

Synchrony · 27/04/2022 12:55

I think Kelsey Grammer too. I like him in Frasier.

It's ok, a bit dated, a bit 'i had a teenage mother'. I would put it in the same category as Kylie and Chelsea. It's ok, not awful, not great

I did aswell 😂

Low brow

inappropriateraspberry · 27/04/2022 12:35

Makes me think of Kelsey Grammer!

Chaoslatte · 27/04/2022 12:31

I agree it is definitely of a particular era - I’d put Gemma in the same bucket. I don’t think Orla is like that though. Although it’s becoming more popular now, I think it still seems quite timeless, more like something like Emily.

Gowithme · 27/04/2022 12:29

Ooops OP, I'll not tell you my thoughts then! Orla though is beautiful.

TweetTweetMF · 27/04/2022 12:29

I'd imagine all the teen mums call their daughters that. I really dislike it, to chavvy.

American sounding which may or may not be up your street

emmathedilemma · 27/04/2022 11:50

awful, chavvy and dated

duckie3 · 27/04/2022 11:31

I think it's quite common in America, it falls in the same sort of category as Mackenzie and names like that for me. I don't hate it but I don't really like it either and think it can be seen as a bit chavvy over here

Ohsoworried · 27/04/2022 11:24

Can't stand it. Always makes it in to top 10 chavvy girls names.
