Which one would you choose? Our now 2 week old baby girl doesn’t have a name. Down to last 2. I loved Rosie but husband said no as it isn’t a grown woman’s name. I guess I could nn Rosa Rosie?

Much prefer eeee ending names. Opinion on Rosa and Zoe please.

Zoe by a long way! Universal, not overused and elegant.

Not another Rosa/Rosie please....

BlueChampagne · 20/04/2022 09:54

I do prefer Zoe. However, there are plenby of longer Rose names that could have Rosie as a nn:
Rosamund
Rosanne
Rosalyn(e)
Rosalind
Rosalie

BirdWatch · 20/04/2022 05:48

Both. Rosa Zoe, Rosie for a nickname.

ultimatebob · 20/04/2022 04:58

They are both lovely names

bobaforever · 20/04/2022 04:01

I love both names but Rosa is more unique to me

wtaf1980 · 20/04/2022 03:53

Love them both 😊

peaceinourtime · 20/04/2022 00:00

Both are nice. Of the the two Zoe is a bit better. If you use Zoe calling her Zo is easier on the ear then zoeeeee.

Zoe by a mile
Rosa is nice but there's so many Ro--- names that are popular ,I get a bit bored of all the Rory, Rosie, Ronnie's etc loads of variations in the top 100

stripeymonster · 19/04/2022 21:51

Rosa nn Rosie - lovely positive name

fendisna · 19/04/2022 21:49

I really like both.

I probably prefer Zoe, but would use Rosa as it's less common.

Snowiscold · 19/04/2022 20:50

Zoe by a long way.

frenchie4002 · 19/04/2022 20:09

Another vote for Rosa here

Thehundredthnamechange · 19/04/2022 15:08

Rosa

dmb91 · 18/04/2022 23:15

Zoe

gingerhills · 18/04/2022 23:09

I love Rosa. Not keen on Zoe.

DariaMorgendorffer · 18/04/2022 22:55

Rosa

Luredbyapomegranate · 18/04/2022 22:44

Both nice, perhaps prefer Rosa but as Zoe is less popular I’d go with that. It’s a sparky name.

Rosanna also v nice.

WeasilyPleased · 18/04/2022 22:43

My mum did call me Zoe @merrymelodies. Thank goodness she did because I love it.

Tombero · 18/04/2022 22:34

Rosalind? Known as Rosie, but lots of options for her later.

CaffiSaliMali · 18/04/2022 20:55

Both nice but I prefer Rosa. Rosie works as a nickname but gives her the option of being Rosa when she's older or staying a Rosie.

merrymelodies · 18/04/2022 20:40

My mum wanted to call me Zoe. Thank goodness she didn't. I can't bear the name myself but if you like it... 🤷‍♀️

Floofyfoofy · 18/04/2022 20:29

Rosa is much nicer. It is definitely having a resurgence, I know 4 under 4 & a Rosalind and a Roslyn.

dementedma · 18/04/2022 20:27

Rosa. Zoe sounds odd to my ears

Beamur · 18/04/2022 20:23

Both are lovely. But I would choose Rosa.

2pinkginsplease · 18/04/2022 20:21

Definitely Zoe, Rosa reminds me of my grans generation.
