Due DS3 in a few weeks and can't decide on his name!

Please could I have opinions/favourites from the list below?

Kit (has been the front runner for the last 4 months but now I'm wavering)
Brodie
Bodhi
Art
Reid

Suggestions also welcome!

Reid is my favourite.

SoupDragon · 15/04/2022 08:31

Kit or Brodie.

Reid is dreadful.

20viona · 15/04/2022 08:29

Reid

Purpleroseas · 15/04/2022 08:26

Reid is a good strong name.

Kit looks like a nickname for Kitten or Kitty 🐈‍⬛. It's just not a boy's name to my mind.

Also 'take your kit off'....

BeKindBeYou · 15/04/2022 07:20

Kit is an amazing name. But be prepared for a hell of a lot of people not pronouncing the ‘T’!

Art, Kit and Reid are great.

Yes, you should choose a short, sharp, handsome name.
Jim, Ken, Vern, Lex, Neil, Dave, Tim, Will, John, Fred, Hugh, Pat, Geoff, Bob, Tom. They are always friendly.

Kite22 · 09/04/2022 20:58

Hmm. Really don't like any on your list.
Am even struggling to find a 'least bad'.

Do NOT understand the love for 'Kit' - your kit is you clothes for sport, or indeed a baby beaver.

I know Arthur is sometimes shortened to 'Art' but now KirstenBlest has put the rhyming into my mind, it doesn't help.

Adventing · 09/04/2022 20:30

Love Art if short for Arthur

Luredbyapomegranate · 09/04/2022 14:13

Kit 💯

Or Art if short for Arthur - it deffo doesn’t work on its own

Not the others

CrowAndABut · 08/04/2022 15:48

Love Reid and Kit.

KirstenBlest · 08/04/2022 15:10

Kit (has been the front runner for the last 4 months but now I'm wavering) - was ok until the Rooneys used it
Brodie - the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Ghastly book
Bodhi - just no
Art - rhymes with...
Reid - Reedy. No

Knightbuss · 08/04/2022 10:09

Art is great! Kit is definitely having a moment but it is a nice name. Reid is also nice and I’ve never met one but it feels traditional.

peaceinourtime · 08/04/2022 00:16

Kit is nice. Brodie- Brady is nicer i think of the two. Bodhi is dreadful I don't get its appeal also there are lots of body and well being centres with Bodhi in their name

RiverRats · 07/04/2022 21:52

Reid is my favourite, I’ve never really liked the name Kit

Rainbowbaby13 · 07/04/2022 21:50

I've always loved Brodie but Kit is a very close second

AuntieStella · 07/04/2022 21:48

I think Kit is by far and away nicest of your shortlist

Mumofgirls2017 · 07/04/2022 21:46

DEFINITELY Kit!

blitzen · 07/04/2022 20:56

Kit

SpringHasSprungYay · 07/04/2022 20:50

Bodhi

TheReigningLorelai · 07/04/2022 20:41

@Howmanydaysuntilfriday

Would children calling him 'football kit' or 'P.E kit' or 'Kit Kat'? Just putting this out there
I mean there's always going to be a nickname isn't there...🤷🏼‍♀️

Kit or Reid are both great names!

saritapdot · 07/04/2022 20:38

Brodie to me sounds like broody, Bodhi sounds Indian (nothing wrong with that obv), Art is okay I guess but a bit weird as a standalone name (and lots and lots of Arthur's around these days), Reid everyone would constantly misspell.

darlingdodo · 07/04/2022 20:37

Kit by a long way.

I actually like Kit the best out of these names! Don't waver!
