Molly or Mollie?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Definitely Molly. Mollie is a bit chavvy tbh. You're not supposed to say that but it's what a lot of people will think.

MargosKaftan · 06/04/2022 13:39

Molly looks timeless.

quarantandrums · 06/04/2022 12:40

Definitely Molly not Mollie.

Our dog was Molly when we rescued her, we changed it to Mollie. I think it looks nicer.

I have a molly and can’t bear mollie-it just looks wrong
It’s up to her if she wants to change it

Molly.

Barring very strong personal preferences or cultural backgrounds which favour a different spelling, I would always choose the most common spelling to make things easier going forward so most people instinctively get it right.

Goawayangryman · 05/04/2022 21:58

Molly all the way. I really hate Mollie, Tillie, etc as they sound like floofy girlie names.
