Does it matter whether names "go with" each other?
You're naming people who will grow to be separate individuals with different personalities, not a pair of matching garden gnomes.

Herbie (bc Herbert) - Herbie is kind of cute but I don't think I'd want to be called Herbie or Herbert. I think you'd have to be an overly confident person to pull off Herbie

Frankie (bc Franklin) - I'm not a fan personally

Doug (bc Douglas) - it's ok

Bruno - I quite like but ATM everybody will just sing 'we don't talk about bruno' at him

Otis - my favourite from your list
Caspar - not a fan

Solomon - I like it, my second favourite from your list

We don't have the same taste in names, but I do like Otis and it goes surprisingly well with Wilf.

My DS was very nearly Wilf, love it. I also loved Otis, so that's got my vote.
