Please help! I'm due in August and we are keeping the sex a surprise ☺️ We have picked out our boy name but really struggling to find a perfect name for a girl. I'm not too keen on choosing a name that is overly feminine and want to stay away from names in the top 20. I really like the name Rowan but not sure if she would be teased for having a boy's name. What's your thoughts on Rowan (please be honest) or do you have any other suggestions. Thanks ❤️

What about Rowena?

It’s DD’s middle name, and was very nearly her first. We liked it because of the nature connection (we both love rowan trees) and the fact it sounded strong and not frilly.

Much prefer it for a girl than for a boy. The official stats show that it’s currently very trendy for boys (along with Roman, Rory etc) but both of the babies we’ve come across with this name recently have been girls. It is genuinely unisex.

I really like it for a girl.

I really like it, but then again it’s also the name of my two of my friend’s sons. I also know a couple of girls called Cameron too.

I like it. I don’t see it as a boy’s name.
