Don’t like Merryn but Mirren or Manon is nice, also Ffion, Seren, Arran, Aislinn

Don’t like Milena but Marina or Miranda are nice

Anya is ok, I think Anna and Annis are both nicer

Petra is ok, unusual too.

Alba is ok, but I think Aphra is nicer

Mila and Nina are meh, Skye is a bit naff, and Ariana very Disney Princess

Anya and Nina.
Petra- I’m 51 so can’t get past Blue Peter dog of the 70s.
Mila is a white spot on a baby’s face.
The rest can go in any order.

Mila - Lila, Maya, Maia...all a bit samey
Anya - ok
Ariana - prefer Oriana
Skye - not keen
Petra - nice
Nina - like
Milena - not keen, sounds like Mirena
Merryn - don't like
Alba - not keen, Scotland

Mila - don't like. Find it a bit dull (maybe because I know a lot as work with a lot of Eastern European people)
Anya - love this
Ariana - no. Too linked to Grande.
Skye - ok..a bit 90s
Petra - ok
Nina - lovely
Milena - awful. Reminds me of melaena (a type of bloody diarrhoea)
Merryn - gorgeous
Alba - not keen

Merryn, Nina and Anya are lovely.

Anya was from Anastasia, who was Russian. I think all the names are lovely but all very foreign

Nina is the only one I like - it's great. Ariana is ok along with Petra. All the others are bad inmho.

I like Merryn, Ariana and Petra (or maybe Petrina).

The rest are a bit bland. Alba could work as Alberta or Albertine.

Really dislike Milena, sounds similar to malaena which is a poo with blood in it. Sorry. Ariana is nice as I’ve just read a book with a lovely character with that name, although I would have associated it with Grande previously. I like Merryn. Kind of makes me think of a nice girl from the Shire. Is there a hobbit called Merry? Anyway, it’s a little folky and nice. The others are somewhere in the middle
Yep, names that sound like a bloody poo should be avoided!

  1. Ariana: love this, really pretty. 2. Skye: also love this, can’t choose much between these two. 3. Anya: nice name maybe a bit bland?
  1. Petra: equal with Anya for me, I like but don’t love it.
5.Nina: objectively a nice name but the name of somebody I dislike 😆 6.Milena: reminds me of the coil. 7.Merryn: just can’t warm to this it feels clumsy and awkward. 8.Alba: dislike, sounds like a shampoo

Mila - used to love this name until I had a late m/c and another girl I knew was pregnant at the same time but a couple of weeks behind, I had told her this was my favourite name, come to find out when her daughter was born she named her mila..how cruel

Nina - lovely but getting very popular

Mila - ok

Skye - hate it. I know two kids called Syke, both are absolute brats so that's probably colouring my view

Merryn - never heard of it before, is it pronounced same as Muireann?

Ariana - like but always associated with Ariana Grande. A but like all the Britneys and Rhianna's about 10-15 years ago

Milena - sounds like medicine, contraceptive, or cleaning product

Ariana - sweet love the nickname Ari
Skye - don't like
Petra - it's ok maybe a little pretentious
Nina - lovely and very different for this generation
