I recently had a thread on the name Maggie as a potential name for our second daughter, due in June. There were mixed reactions, including some who didn't like it with our first daughter's name, Alice.

What do people think of Cora?

It also goes well with Alice.

it’s not my taste at all and I think if it as a frumpy name. It reminds me of names like Tracey and Eileen. Old but not vintage or cool or classic or unusual or interesting.

Love Cora… makes me think of the 1930’s but that may be due to Downton Abbey. ( not wild about Maggie)

I love the name Cora.
Cora and Alice are the sisters in 'The Last of the Mohicans'.
I like Maggie too, though I'd be inclined to have a more formal version on her birth cert, but that's just a personal preference.
