I'm waiting for a call from the IVF clinic with a start date and trying to keep my mind busy. What do you think of Theodora?

DH has vetoed Persephone (Persie), Rory, Philomena (Phil) and tons of others

My dd’s school friend has that name and she is universally known as Theo

Thea would have been my preferred nn but Teddy is very cute.

@KatRee congratulations, how far through your 3rd round are you? This will be our first

I was thinking Teddy, Dora or Dory. I have a close friend with a Thea so I'd be trying hard to avoid that one! Do you think Dottie is a bit of a stretch?

I think it's really pretty - I love a name you can get a few nicknames out of as well- mine's is a short one syllable name and always wanted a longer one I could play around with!
I think it would naturally get shortened to Thea, but Dora is lovely too. Could also go for Theo or Teddy

Best wishes for the IVF- I've just completed cycle number 3, which has been our lucky one so far
