Our 4th baby girl is due in the summer.

Madeline
Matilda
Primrose

All 3 go lovely with our other dd's names
Primrose I think is beautiful but is it too out there.. which do you prefer and why.

Matilda!

LabelMaker · 26/03/2022 09:48

Matilda, hate primrose

maybein2022 · 26/03/2022 09:44

Matilda. It’s one of my favourites and I wish I could use it for this baby (if a girl) but sadly the short version (Tilly) sounds silly with our surname! The other two are ok, but I much prefer Matilda.

Matilda

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 26/03/2022 08:54

I like Madeline best.
Matilda is too popular and Primrose is too twee - also very hard to carry off if she is not very “stereotypically girly”.

Lilaclavenders · 26/03/2022 08:35

Primrose

Because Matilda and Madeline are overused and a little dull.

JMPB · 26/03/2022 08:33

Matilda 💕 one of my favourites but DH hates it xx

Dinoteeth · 26/03/2022 08:24

I think they are all likely to end up shortened.
Maddy
Matty / Tilda
Rose / Rosie.

So from there I think a prefer Matilda or Primrose. Not a big fan of Madeline.

Matilda is really different. I'm liking it.

canyoubelievethat · 26/03/2022 08:22

I prefer Madeline.

MoonBat · 26/03/2022 08:21

I like Primrose but wouldn't like any shortening of it, it would bother me!

Madeline is lovely, and I don't mind Maddie.

Matilda is probably my favourite but also probably the most popular, so it depends how much that concerns you!

Primrose. It’s a family name and we’ve always had lovely comments.
