Bjorn

Always fancied a Norwegian name and Bjorn Borg was well known so thought this was an obvious choice. Ended up with classic, safe names. Love their names, but still feel a bit regretful at not being more adventurous.

Pinkmagic1 · 26/03/2022 06:06

Ziggy

I have a Sullivan, he's 8 and loves his name. We don't live in UK and it's not weird here even though he's the only one on island.

Other boys names would have been:

Griffin
Maverick
Vaughn
Dalton

None of them are that "out there" though, I know a few Griffins, 2 Mavericks, 1 Vaughn and an adult Dalton!

willwewontwe · 26/03/2022 01:14

Blythe 💕

Kanaloa · 26/03/2022 01:13

Actually I think loads of these are super useable - especially Jackson, Susannah, Maddie etc. They’re all just normal names! No guilt for those.

Also love Sullivan but it would be horrible in the local accent where I live.

shrimpbarbie · 26/03/2022 01:11

Also Tallulah and Vivi!

Kanaloa · 26/03/2022 01:11

Ooh I love Shiloh! Why is that guilty pleasure, it seems quite usable to me? Mine would be Salve. Really wanted to call dd6 this and DH kept saying ‘er shall we wait, shall we wait until we see her and see?’

Looking back it is absurd since our other kids’ names fall into the ‘sensible’ category, so it would have been something like ‘here are our kids Thomas, Hannah, Joseph, and Salve.’
