Hi all

Had a last minute change of mind to Esmé as a first name and now our middle name ideas don’t seem to go… we were thinking Lily, Mae, Ada,Eva

Can you please suggest some new ones?

Ignore me. Just said Esme Bea out loud with your favoured pronunciation ... 'may' followed by Bea gives you maybe. Soz!

Esme Grace
Esme Joy

@Blimecory yes I believe so, I really want it pronounced Es ‘may’ though and wondered if the double e would encourage people to pronounce it Es ‘mee’

Esme is a lovely name. A middle name beginning with either J or B sounds nice to my ear. So maybe Jessica, Jane or Bea.

Jane
Faye
Clara
Maude

Esmé is a male spelling, isn’t it? You’d need Esme (anglicised) or Esmée as a female name. Middle name needs to start with a consonant.

I'd say it needs to start with a consonant and preferably not one that's in the first name. Also avoid repeating the same vowel sounds.
